The holiday season in Dubai is incomplete without a visit to the annual Madinat Jumeirah Christmas Market starting on 6 December. From an impressive 36ft-tall tree to an array of seasonal food stalls and immersive family-friendly activities, the festive bazaar has something for everyone.

You’ll be treated to an upbeat vibe at the massive 1,750sqm venue with a live band playing yuletide tunes while you shop at pop-ups featuring homegrown brands. Hop on an abra and tread across the waterways with Santa or let the kids take a ride on the Venetian carousel. Don't forget to check out the gingerbread house, among plenty of seasonal crafts.
